Statue Repair Policy

Effective Date: May 2025

At A+A Studio Art,  we take pride in restoring statues with precision and care. To ensure transparency and protect both parties, we have established the following policy regarding statue repairs:

1. Repair Assessment

​

  • All repair work begins with an evaluation by our restoration team.

  • Customers will receive a written estimate detailing the scope of work, timeline, and total cost.

  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

 

2. Deposit Requirement

​

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before any repair work begins.

    • This upfront payment covers material costs and reserves your project in our schedule.

  • Work will not begin until the deposit is received in full.

  • The remaining 50% is due upon completion, on or before pickup or delivery.

 

3. Payment Methods

​

  • We accept payments via cash, credit/debit card, check via bank, or Venmo.

  • Payment instructions will be included with your estimate.

4. Repair Timeline

​

  • The estimated time to complete repairs is at least 3 weeks from the date the deposit is received.

  • Delays due to factors outside A+A Studio Art’s control (e.g., weather, material delays, or client-requested changes) may affect the timeline.

  • Timelines may vary depending on the nature and extent of the damage.

  • Any changes in estimated completion will be communicated promptly.

5. Customer Approval

​

  • No unauthorized changes will be made to the agreed repair scope without your written approval - sent via email or in-person (if requested).

  • Additional work will be quoted separately and may affect the completion date and final cost.

    • An addendum will be issued separately for any additional work requiring signature for approval.

6. Liability

​

  • We take every precaution to handle your statue with care.

  • However, due to the nature of some materials (e.g., aged or brittle surfaces), certain risks may be unavoidable and will be disclosed during assessment.

  • A+A Studio Art is not liable for pre-existing damage or defects not visible at the time of assessment.

 

7. Pickup & Delivery

​

  • Customers are responsible for arranging pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

  • Delivery services may be available at an additional cost.

  • If shipping, customers are responsible for all shipping and handling costs of items to be repaired or created to and from A+A Studio Art. 

    • Shipped items returning to customers will be delivered via COD (Collect on Delivery) to cover shipping and handling costs.
